Hear from inspiring women during a panel discussion led by Woman In Front founder Lyla Tuwhangai over a lavish lunch on Sunday at the Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival. Lyla founded WIF to celebrate the cumulative and individual greatness of self-made women.

Women In Front is all about women in business supporting other women in business - a community of passionate and creative women coming together, spanning an array of industries, celebrating their uniqueness and similarities in a space to inspire and connect.

MEET THE PANELISTS

Lyla Tuwhangai

An award-winning businesswoman, Lyla is the founder of Mamako Haircare, which produces luxurious 100 percent vegan, certified products that are made in Australia and designed to help women experiencing hormonal hair loss.

A hairdresser for more than two decades and mum to three daughters, Lyla founded Mamako about four years ago when her youngest child was just two months old. The same year, the Redcliffe resident came third in the Product Innovation category of the prestigious AusMumpreneur awards.

Crystal Bailey

As an entrepreneur, holistic interior designer and stylist, Crystal specialises in creating peaceful spaces that enhance wellbeing through her unique design approach.

She's been in business for almost a decade, founding multiple six and seven-figure design businesses, coaching hundreds of women to pursue their dreams through courses and mentoring programs, designing a range of products with thousands sold worldwide, designing a collection released in every Bunnings store in Australia and working as a stylist for some of Australia's top magazines and television programs.

Jools Purchase

House of Jools founder Jools Purchase says hairdressing is not about the hair, it’s about connection, passion and love for her clients. Inspired by her mum, who was a hair model for a salon across the street from where she grew up in the 1980s, Jools joined the industry motivated by the impact she could make on someone’s life by changing their hair colour.

She’s an ambassador for Goldwell, the head stylist for the Brisbane Broncos, and lead stylist for bands such as Sheppard, Sarah McLeod and more.

Renee May

The founder of luxury label Lolly May, Renee has amassed more than half a million followers across TikTok and Instagram. She’s an ambassador for major brands such as Naked Harvest, Koala, Marley Spoon and Woolworths.

The successful young entrepreneur also has a highly engaged audience on her Instagram food page, @reneesfoodideas, where she shares healthy food inspiration with a few treats thrown in.
