Your ultimate guide to every sizzling, star-powered moment at the Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival
Whether you’ve followed them on screen, cooked from their books, or dreamt of sharing a table with them, this is your chance to get up close to Australia’s favourite celebrity chefs and culinary stars. From big stage demos to intimate dining events, here’s how to plan your ultimate star-chef weekend.
The Kitchen presented by Ausbuild – Get closer, go deeper
This is the big stage, the main event, and the heartbeat of the festival’s foodie action. The Kitchen presented by Ausbuild is where you’ll see your favourite chefs and culinary stars live in action—sharing stories, cracking jokes, and cooking dishes that look (and smell) almost too good to be true.
Catch Miguel Maestre bringing the energy, colour and bold Spanish flavours he’s famous for, alongside Julie Goodwin, the beloved first-ever MasterChef winner known for turning everyday meals into something special.
Festival favourite Chef Alastair McLeod returns with his signature passion and local flair. Also joining the lineup are Simone and Viviana, the charismatic My Kitchen Rules 2024 champs who’ll serve up fresh pasta and playful banter, Matt Golinski, whose deep connection to regional produce and honest cooking always shines on stage, and Mike Reid, bringing refined technique and flavour with serious culinary cred.
Pull up a seat, grab a snack, and get ready to be entertained, inspired, and maybe even a little starstruck. After each session, hang around for photo ops or a quick meet-and-greet, you might just leave with more than cooking tips.

The Kitchenette presented by Gardner Vaughan Group – Get closer, go deeper
Looking for something a little more intimate? Head over to The Kitchenette presented by Gardner Vaughan Group, hosted all weekend by the incredible Dominique Rizzo, chef, presenter, and champion of honest, wholesome food.
This is your chance to dig into real-time tips, interactive demos, and stories from local producers, culinary creators, and guest chefs. Think edible flowers, cocktail making, native ingredients, and cooking secrets you’ll actually want to try at home.
Less fanfare, more flavour. Less distance, more detail. This is the stage for curious food lovers who want to get closer to the craft.

Where to dine, sip and learn with them
Want more than just a seat in the crowd? These ticketed events give you the chance to dine, drink, and dive deeper with the chefs you love.
